Contact the Triffid Ranchers

Texas Triffid Ranch

Although the Triffid Ranch is a small nursery, and probably because it's a small nursery, we like to stay in touch with customers, fellow horticulture enthusiasts, and interested bystanders.  Because it's the Internet Age, you have plenty of options to ask questions, share information, and pass on upcoming events.

Snail Mail

Mail-order nurseries date back nearly 200 years, and the Triffid Ranch continues that tradition. Letters, catalogs, magazines, notices, and other dead-tree literature may be sent to:

The Texas Triffid Ranch
5435 North Garland Avenue, suite 140
#176
Garland, Texas 75040

Particularly interesting mail will be shared via the Texas Triffid Ranch blog. This can be positive or negative.

Please note:  because of a number of potential customers who assumed that this is a storefront address, we'd like to reiterate that this is a mailing address only.  Due to liability issues, the Texas Triffid Ranch is not open to the general public at this time except at shows and events.  We welcome further contact for information on plant purchases, but please don't check the address via MapQuest or Yahoo! Maps and then drop on by unannounced.  The folks running the mail drop won't be able to help.

Phone

Between working in the greenhouse and running errands, we end up missing most phone calls.  E-mail's the safer, faster, and easier option: really.  However, if there's no other option, the Triffid Ranch may be reached at:

214-789-8365

E-mail

On one point, we want to hear from customers.  On the other, we're as sick and tired of obnoxious "V[A@rA" spam as you are.  Hence, to get in touch, please send any E-mail via the address below, and I apologize in advance for any inconvenience:

information (*at*) txtriffidranch (#dot#) com

For further information on Plant Care Sheets, please contact:

caresheets (*at*) txtriffidranch (#dot#) com

Note: a couple of big ISPs, particularly Comcast, tend to treat the above E-mail addresses as spam.  In return, many of those ISPs are treated by others as sources for spam.  If the above addresses don't work for whatever reason, there's always:

txtriffidranch (*at) gmail (#dot#) com

Real life

In addition to a Web presence, we also make appearances at pop culture expos, garden shows, and other live events. Check the Calendar section to find out where, when, and why.

Having the Triffid ranch come to you

Because we're willing and able to make presentations and lectures on carnivorous and prehistoric plants, please feel free to contact us for school and garden society events.  For any journalists seeking further information for articles or broadcast stories, we're also available for information and consultation:  just let us know through any of the above options.
